Gill Montague Middle School Face

The Gill Montague Middle School After School Program built this 10 foot diameter concrete face that is displayed at the Youth Sculpture Park. This is one of the countrys’ largest faces that was made by students. And it is concrete.

The 10 girls started out with multiple designs and then agreed upon this single design. It took about six 3- hour sessions to complete the project. Throughout, the girls were focused and enthusiastic. Creating a sculpture of this scale requires a lot of work and persistence.
